Like many air fryer owners, I feel like I use my air fryer for the same few things every time. So I thought I'll ask YOU for your favorite air fryer recipes and pull these together to form a compilation of the ELITE air fryer foods. Sweet potato fries
This week I shared a recipe for air fryer sweet potato masala fries. I use a recipe by My Healthy Dish whenever I make air fryer sweet potato fries (save her recipe for crispy ranch sweet potato fries) and they're always so good!
Crispy Tofu
I swear by this recipe by Live Eat Learn. It's super easy and the tofu ends up being so crispy despite not having any cornstarch and so flavorful despite only having a few seasonings. Samosas
Making samosas in the air fryer has been a game changer for me. I would normally make frozen samosas in the oven but making only a few in the oven as a snack for my husband and I, just seems wasteful! The air fryer is great for frozen foods like samosas and spring rolls, they end up being just as crunchy.

Sri Lankan rolls
Sri Lankan rolls are similar to Chinese egg/spring rolls. They can have vegetarian or meat fillings, rolled in a thin crepe-like pancake, then breaded and deep fried. Air frying is a great option for the rolls and you can air fry frozen or fresh Sri Lankan rolls. I can't wait to try these!
Vegan Meatballs
These vegan air fryer meatballs by Holy Cow Vegan are made from chickpeas, mushrooms and walnuts. I've heard amazing things about this recipe and will need to give it a go!
French Fries
This recipe for Air Fried French Fries is by @nutralyst_ . This recipe has been perfected to a crisp so do check it out!
Cheesy/loaded Fries
Make your own cheesy or loaded fries at home by firstly making your fries as normal (store bought or even the recipe above!), grate lactose free cheese on to them and air fry for 3 minutes. Season with black pepper or any other seasoning or toppings or leftovers in the fridge.
Crispy bhindi (okra) and karela (bitter gourd)
Vegetables like okra and bitter gourd are normally fried or deep fried for dishes like bhindi masala and karele, but air frying is another great option. I have previously made bhindi masala by roasting the okra in the oven but I'm really excited to try it in the air fryer too!
