I love getting Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian when out for Indian food so I had to try it at home! Manchurian is an Indochinese dish where vegetables or meats are fried then wrapped in a sweet, sour and spicy sauce, combining the flavors and cooking techniques of these two different cuisines.
As always, I love trying healthier alternatives and easier cooking methods, so I’ve skipped on battering and deep frying the cauliflower and baked it to a crisp instead!
Gobi Manchurian is normally eaten on its own as an appetizer but feel free to serve it with rice or noodles to have as a meal.
Let me know if you recreate this at home! Happy cooking :)
