I shared a recipe for gajar ka halwa a few weeks back, which is a traditional carrot and milk based dessert. I’m super excited to share a raw energy ball version of the dessert, made up of finely shredded carrots, juicy sweet dates, packed with nuts and flavored with cardamom. These energy balls are very easy to make, do not need any cooking (mix the ingredients together, shape into balls and you're good to go!) and from what I noticed gives you that fix for gajar ka halwa without having to cook. A little bomb of carroty goodness, these energy balls are perfect as a midday snack with a cuppa or on the go! This recipe yields 16 energy balls (serving size 2 balls).
