Happy Pancake Day! In true Sabzi Khor fashion, here’s a vegan spiced pancake for the occasion, Besan Chilla.
These savory pancakes originate from Northern India and are made from gram (chickpea) flour making them vegan and gluten free! The pancakes are meant to be thin, like crepes and taste so good with all the spices. If you’re good at flipping pancakes (unlike me!), feel free to make them a little bigger. Makes 4 large or 6 medium pancakes. Serve with yoghurt, chutney and/or salad.
